Due to the low wind area I live in, this has less than an hour of “load” time. So here is the story: This is basically brand new. It was lightly used on my wind turbine. I now want to go solar instead, so here is your opportunity to get a good deal. It works great and there is nothing wrong with it. What I did was hook a 600 and a 1000W together so when during high winds. The 600 would kick off and the 1000W would take over. Question: Please elaborate the “kick off” part. The alternator/generator of your turbine will make power – regardless. It is all about harnessing that. Power and protecting the turbine from itself when you cannot. Lets say you have an alternator that. Makes power from 0V to 100V. You can either harness that entire spectrum, or dump it into a dump. Load when you cannot. I had a dual PMA that essentially produced a maximum of 2x1000W. The 600W inverters harnessed 10.8V. To 30V and then switched to dump the load. I did not have it connected to a dump load here yet. Because when the power reached over 30V I also connected the 1000W which harnessed 22V-60V. What would happen is instead of dumping the load at the 600W inverters, the 600W inverter would. Switch off because it was over powered and trying to dump the load and then at that time the 1000W. Inverters were absorbing and “converter-ing” see what I did there? -P the power production of the. I had the 1000W inverters connected to a dump load in case the power production ever. I essentially would have liked to have had some 1500W inverters too and dumped the. Load after that and I would have had a voltage spectrum coverage from 10.8V all the way up to 90V. All you do is jump-connect all the.
