It is based on a steel 8×16 tandem axle Cargo Express trailer with a 12,000 lb rated load. The steel enclosure is custom with ¼ walls and interior bracing. The array support structure is welded aluminum I-beams and 1-½ square tubing. It includes a 5kW SMA Sunny Boy 5.0-US-41 240V grid-tie inverter fed by 18 270W Solar World solar panels. For off-grid applications you can add batteries and switch to a hybrid or off-grid inverter.
