This inverter is brand new and not suitable fro new installation in the USA because it does not have AFCI (ARC detection). This is one of the best inverters around for repairing / upgrading smaller existing installations where you have one or 2 strings (usually older small capacity panels) facing in different directions or made up out of different size or model panels per string. With a very wide MPPT range and great fast tracking behavior this is a Inverter that can solve many problems in existing installations where there are 2 strings that do not match for whatever reason. If you are building a new system where AFCI is required during inspection, this inverter would not qualify. Not all sellers mention this in their adds. The serial number pictured is for informational purposes only, it might not be the exact serial you will receive, but all are from roughly the same production date.
